Tuition and Budget Survey - Tell UT How to Spend Your Money

Hello Longhorns,

My name is Echo Nattinger, and I am the Policy Director for the Senate of College Councils. As the official voice of students in academics, Senate advocates for student issues and works to promote a healthy campus climate. Today, I’m writing with some urgent news regarding your tuition and the university budget.

As you may know, the UT System sets a new tuition rate every other year. Two years ago, tuition was raised without input from students. This year, we can’t let that happen again. As the Board of Regents considers and debates the 2022-2024 Budget, we must ensure that student voices are heard and valued in the decision-making process.

I am inviting you all to fill out the College Tuition Budget Advisory Committee (CTBAC) survey. It should take no more than 10 minutes, and allows you to tell the Board of Regents directly how you feel about your tuition and the University budget. By filling out this survey, you have the opportunity to provide input on tuition rates, budget allocations, and a host of other financial issues.
