Texas Talks Series: First Session Sept 8 at 6pm

“Texas Talks” is a biweekly series that will give students an opportunity to interface with notable UT faculty/staff and learn about important topics ranging from social justice in the historical context of UT, campus climate and current events, and ways to move forward as a community.

Our goal is to help students understand our past, present, and gain tools to help improve our university’s future. Students will walk away from each session with a greater understanding of UT/Austin history, dialogue with UT peers on current issues relevant to students, and feel empowered to help the university community move towards positive change.

While the content is geared towards first-year students at UT, we welcome Longhorns of all classifications to participate if they are interested. Discussions will take place every other Tuesday from 6-7 PM, beginning on September 8 and concluding on November 17. Students can register for the first session in the series on HornsLink.
