When (AM and PM Session): Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST
Why: Representatives from the following areas will be available for networking: Actuary, Audit, Data & Analytics, Experience Management, Finance, Information Security, Life Company, Property & Casualty Claims, Regulatory Relations, Risk, and State Management. Student attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to do one-on-one virtual coffee chats with business areas post event!

When: Tuesday, September 22 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CST
Why: Join Capital One associates for a case interview prep workshop. During this fun, interactive event, you’ll get a chance to learn more about the in's and out's of a case interview. You will also get a look at Capital One’s Business Resource Groups that support you once you join Capital One.

Join Texas Career Engagement and learn how to navigate different virtual career fair platforms and how to best connect and interact with recruiters. Students will also learn how to craft an elevator pitch and virtual etiquette best practices.

Tuesday, Sept. 15: Decoding the Interview: Understanding Questions and Crafting Answers

In this workshop, students will learn what information employers are hoping to learn by asking specific questions in an interview. They will understand the different types of interview questions and learn how to develop answers that allow them to strongly represent themselves in an interview.

Tuesday, Sept. 15: Discussion Group – Building Career Confidence Through Mindfulness

Navigating career decisions during these challenging times can be difficult. Whether you’ve recently launched a job or internship search, or just feel uncertain about next steps in your career development, join us! Through this weekly discussion-based group, we hope to create an open and inclusive space for students to share their experiences, find community, and receive support. We will also offer opportunities to practice basic mindfulness techniques, and discuss strategies to develop confidence, resilience, and optimism during these uncertain times. This is a discussion group for all undergraduate students.
