Event Description
The Orange Line, a 20-mile light rail line that would operate on North Lamar Blvd and Congress Ave, could serve a section of Guadalupe St. known as “The Drag,” offering new ways for people to travel just west of UT Austin and creating a new signature public space for the city. Join the Austin Transit Partnership to discuss design opportunities for The Drag with Project Connect engineering and design teams.

About Project Connect
Project Connect will expand and improve the public transit network for the Central Texas region, including new light rail, a downtown subway, and an accessible bus system to more frequently connect neighborhoods in and outside of Austin. Capital Metro and the City of Austin have formed the Austin Transit Partnership (ATP), an independent organization that will guide the Project Connect investment.
