The Texas Undergraduate Research Journal

Submissions for Spring 2022 (Volume 21) is now open


The Texas Undergraduate Research Journal (TURJ) is the official, multidisciplinary research journal of the University of Texas at Austin and is entirely student-run. We aim to highlight undergraduate work from all across the university and provide a platform for students to publish/share their research. Journal papers are not limited to STEM and have included business, economics, and social work in the past.


TURJ is a great opportunity for undergraduates to publish research and select 5-8 manuscripts per journal volume. You can read past volumes here.


Submission Guidelines:
· One-inch page margins
· 12-point Times New Roman Font, double spaced
· 30 page maximum for all papers (not including citations, etc.)
· Any citation style is acceptable, as long as it is consistent
· Include an abstract of no greater than 200 words
· Include an acknowledgments section recognizing any guidance received, particularly faculty mentors and principal investigator

Deadline: Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:59 pm. Articles will be reviewed on a rolling basis during the Fall and Spring semesters.
