UT Senate William Powers Jr. Endowed Scholarship

Purpose: Senate of College Councils created the William Powers Jr Endowed Scholarship Fund to honor Bill Powers as he oversaw a record-breaking capital campaign and defended and
bolstered UT’s role as a world-class institution.

Eligibility: Any currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate student, including doctoral
students

Criteria: 

Applicants will be evaluated on
     Contribution to the University
     Community involvement
     Organizational involvement
     Job/work involvement
     Financial need shall be applied to decide between equally meritorious students with
comparable leadership abilities.

Number of recipients: Variable Number (2 - 4)
Amount of Award: Variable Amount ($500.00 - 1000.00 )
