Fall 2021 Data & Donuts Workshop Series

Looking to develop your data management skills and realize the full potential of your research data? Consider attending the UT Libraries’ Data & Donuts workshops this semester!

The UT Libraries Research Data Services unit is excited to announce the schedule for its Fall 2021 Data & Donuts workshop series which will cover five unique topics specifically selected because of their importance to research data management in a variety of different disciplines. Due to the popularity of our virtual workshops during the past academic year, we will be continuing to host our workshops via Zoom this fall. In order to continue our donut theme while remaining virtual we will be launching a new promotion this semester and giving away $10 in BevoPay to one randomly selected student attendee at each workshop. BevoPay funds can be used at campus dining locations, including the Cypress Bend Café which has provided the donuts for our workshops in previous years, so winners will be able to enjoy a box of their favorite donuts in addition to learning new data management techniques.

We welcome all members of the UT community to join us on Zoom from 12:00 - 1:15PM on the Fridays listed below. Registration for each workshop is easy – just click the links for each workshop you are interested in attending to view additional details and sign up. You can also view a more detailed schedule at https://guides.lib.utexas.edu/data-and-donuts.

September 10: Introduction to Python for Data Management
