Map & Geospatial Collections Explorer Fellowship at UT Libraries - Due Monday, October 4th, 2021

The call for proposals for a new annual research incentive, the UT Libraries Map & Geospatial Collections Explorer Fellowship, is now open.

This award is designed to encourage University of Texas at Austin students and faculty to develop scholarly and creative projects that utilize or enhance map and geospatial assets from UTL collections, such as those made available through the Texas GeoData portal, the Collections portal, and the UT Libraries' Map Collections site.

Award Eligibility

Students at all levels and from all disciplines who are currently enrolled in a degree earning program at the University of Texas at Austin during the semester of application. One $1,500 award available.

Faculty and post-docs with an active appointment at the University of Texas at Austin during the semester of application. One $1,500 award available.

Proposals due: MONDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2021

Winners contacted: Early November

Winners publicly announced: GIS Day (Wednesday, November 17, 2021)
