Virtual Town Hall Session on Campus Contextualization Projects - April 16th

You are invited to join us on April 16 from 12-1:30pm for our first virtual Town Hall session to share project updates on the narrative and design proposals for both the Heman M. Sweatt Entrance to T.S. Painter Hall and the East Mall Commemorative Space dedicated to the Precursors, UT’s first Black students.

This Town Hall session is part of an ongoing effort to allow for greater campus-wide participation in shaping and guiding the direction of these important campus projects. The goal of the Town Hall is to inform the broader campus community of the preliminary planning efforts to date, review the initial narrative and design proposals for each project, and engage in dialogue with attendees around general feedback and recommendations to the initial concept paper proposals. You will also hear from representatives from our student, faculty & staff, and alumni advisory groups who will share updates from their committee work on these campus contextualization projects to date.

To register and submit questions prior to the Town Hall session, visit here: https://utexas.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_hCcTVy19SsaBdagXkJe0Nw.
