Student Organization: Lyceum Philosophy Reading Group

Dare to exit the cave and join us in the quest for Truth! The Lyceum is a casual group of students interested in reading ancient texts. We may discover some deeper meaning about ourselves, humanity, and philosophy....or just read some ancient crude jokes (trust us, there are some good ones). We've read Plato, Sophocles, Thucydides, and more. But we aren't tied to Ancient Greek texts, so stop by if you enjoy other works from ancient sources! We vote each meeting what the next meeting's reading will be, so feel free to suggest that work you always wanted to get around to reading.

We meet every other Tuesday at 6:00 PM. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, 2/16, to discuss the Analects of Confucius. While we encourage you to read the text, we will have a great conversation either way!
