IRG Student Feature: Rapoport-King Thesis Awardee, Nicholas J. Romanow

My thesis will focus on how the North Atlantic Treaty Organization will interact with China in the near future. I am currently analyzing policy proposals to reform NATO for the 21st century, and I will soon start doing digital archival research on tensions within NATO during the Cold War. I am incredibly grateful to my family and friends for pushing me to think deeply, and I am grateful for Prof. William Inboden and the staff of the Clements Center for their continuing support of my academic and professional development. I currently have a pending officer application to the U.S. Navy, and I hope to commission as a Naval Officer after graduation.
