IRG is excited to promote the brand new Australia Maymester: Politics of Protecting the Great Barrier Reef in 2021! This program is approved for STE credit.
Live Coral Reef Tour
In an effort to raise awareness of the program, on Tuesday, October 27 at 5:00 pm the Clark Center is partnering with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority to host a live event that will allow UT-Austin students to talk with a diver as he takes them on an underwater tour of the world’s largest living coral reef aquarium, housed at the Townsville-based Reef HQ. Over the course of an hour, our underwater guide will show off the aquarium’s coral reef aquarium as well as its separate shark tank, fielding questions from the audience along the way. All UT students are welcome to attend the live event regardless of their intentions to apply to the Maymester. Join us via this zoom link!
