MA in International Political Economy Development at Fordham - Applications Open for Fall 2021

Located in New York City and known for its academic excellence, Fordham University’s MA Program in International Political Economy and Development (Fordham IPED) offers a unique and innovative interdisciplinary approach to the study of international economic and political relations to a select entering class of approximately 20 to 25 students each year. The MA Curriculum

Fordham IPED is a 12-course (3-semester) program designed to train students for international professional careers as financial analysts, economists, or project managers in business, government or civil society.
Students may specialize in:
· International Banking & Finance
· International & Development Economics
· International Development Studies
· Global Environmental & Resource Economics


Fellowships

Our program provides generous fellowships to its students. Applicants who intend to study full-time may apply for Scholarships, which cover all tuition costs. This may also include Graduate Assistantships, which provide an annual stipend of at least $24,070 in exchange for 18 hours of service per week when the university is in session.


Application Requirements

A completed application, three letters of recommendation, GRE scores and transcripts of previous undergraduate and graduate course work must be submitted by January 4, 2021 for scholarship consideration for Fall 2021 admission. Students not seeking fellowships may submit GMAT or LSAT scores in lieu of GRE scores. Applicants who wish to be considered for fellowships must submit GRE scores. International students must also submit their TOEFL or IELTS test scores. 

Application deadline for fellowship consideration is January 4, 2021
Application deadline for those not seeking a fellowship is April 5, 2021
