The Health & Humanities program will host a poetry reading and discussion by renowned author ire'ne lara silva. The reading will highlight silva’s recent collection, Blood Sugar Canto (Saddle Road Press, 2016), whose poems focus on diabetes experiences from Latinx and Indigenous perspectives.
